The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is preparing to launch the 46th edition of the King Abdulaziz International Contest for Memorizing, Reciting, and Tafsir of the Holy Qur'an in Mecca. The competition will feature 334 male and female contestants from 133 countries, making it the largest edition since its inception nearly 40 years ago. The final round and award ceremony for the male participants will be held at the Masjid al-Haram, while the female competitions and ceremony will take place at the Hilton Hotel.
