AI and Religious Belief Development
The article discusses the impact of artificial intelligence on the formation of religious convictions. It highlights that the quick and confident responses provided by AI can influence users to adopt beliefs without verifying the source or accuracy of the information, especially on doctrinal and religious issues. The focus is emphasized on the fact that the problem is not with the technology itself but with exceeding its appropriate limits. When AI is granted absolute confidence in its answers, it can undermine the fundamentals of faith and create misconceptions that are difficult to correct later. The article stresses the importance of establishing boundaries for using AI as an assistive tool based on reliable sources, along with the need to promote the presence of trustworthy religious content through scientific institutions to prevent machine-generated responses from becoming an authoritative reference, which could lead to deviations in religious beliefs.
