The culture of toxic masculinity
The article discusses the phenomenon of toxic masculine culture and its impact on women and society. It explains that there are two main trends contributing to the spread of this culture: the first is associated with the "Incel" community in the West, which has helped shape a misogynistic male culture that has led to an increase in crimes against women and the spread of degrading adult materials. The second involves accounts with an Islamic character that believe women's demands for equality and rights oppose Islam, promoting a model considered violent and masculine, which drives women away from religion. Studies have indicated that toxic masculinity leads to girls losing pride in their feminine identity, and its effects are clearly seen in the rising rates of gender transition among females, as a result of feelings of discrimination and oppression, rather than due to sexual deviance. Additionally, phenomena such as oppressive upbringing in certain regions, like Afghanistan, reflect the outcomes of this culture. Research confirms that resistance to the women's rights movement does not cause deviance; rather, toxic masculine culture is the true driver behind it.
