Gold steadies amid dollar dip
Gold prices stabilized at the start of Asian trading, marking its third consecutive week of gains, thanks to a decline in the dollar and efforts by the U.S. Treasury to curb the rise in long-term bond yields. The spot price of gold remained unchanged at $4,514.23 per ounce, after reaching its highest level since early June, up 3.2% since the beginning of the week. American gold futures also held steady at $4,571.20, while the price of silver remained flat at $68.03 per ounce.
