Engineer Kareem Badawi, Egypt's Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, announced the establishment of the "Fujairah Alamein Oil and Gas Company" to enhance the trade and exchange of oil in Egypt. The company will focus on operating a dedicated logistical zone for the storage and trading of crude oil and petroleum products at Al-Hamra Port on the Mediterranean Sea, as part of a strategic partnership between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. The project aims to improve the petroleum infrastructure and strengthen Egypt's position as a regional hub for oil trade, leveraging the strategic location of the port, while adhering to the highest safety and environmental standards. It is expected to stimulate investment and develop the oil logistics sector in Egypt.
