Crypto stocks gain as Bitcoin rises
Cryptocurrency prices have risen, with Bitcoin jumping 8.9% to approximately $78,136. This surge followed Trump's call for US lawmakers to enact clear regulatory rules for digital assets, which boosted the rally in stocks of companies related to cryptocurrencies. This coincided with an improved risk appetite among investors, following the US Treasury Department's decision to inject liquidity through bond repurchase operations, despite the impact of high yields on high-risk assets. It remains unclear when new regulatory legislation will be approved, but current political and economic support has helped boost confidence in the cryptocurrency market.
