The foreign ministers of Arab, Islamic, Indonesian, Pakistani, Turkish, Qatari, and Egyptian countries renewed their strong condemnation of the illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially the "E1" settlement plan east of Jerusalem. They warned that this settlement expansion threatens the possibility of establishing an independent and geographically contiguous Palestinian state along the 1967 lines and hampers international peace efforts, including the Trump plan. They called for an immediate halt to the settlement plans and expansion, accountability for those responsible for settlement expansion, and support for Palestinian rights, including the right to self-determination, in accordance with international law and United Nations resolutions.
