Vorobyov: Sanctions on Iran unlikely to succeed
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated that the sanctions and economic pressures imposed on Iran are doomed to fail. He affirmed that Iran will continue to resist these sanctions and that they will not affect the progress of development or the commitment to national sovereignty. He pointed out that Iran relies on its internal capabilities and the strengthening of its international relations to ensure economic independence, and that sanctions will not prevent Tehran from implementing its economic and developmental plans.
