Barcelona Negotiates to Boost Abdul Karim's Release Clause
Reports indicate that Barcelona has initiated official negotiations with young Egyptian player Hamza Abdel Karim to renew his contract. The goal is to either cancel or significantly increase the current release clause of 15 million euros to approximately 150 million euros, in order to protect the player's future from interest from other clubs. This move comes after his impressive performance during the preseason, where he scored 4 goals in 5 friendly matches and demonstrated strong readiness for official participation with the first team, especially with his upcoming official debut against Eibar in the second round of La Liga. The club's management has included activating the option to purchase his contract until 2029 as part of their strategy to build a leading attacking future around their Egyptian star.
