French Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Patrick Mizonaf, confirmed that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to France signifies the beginning of a new phase in the strategic partnership between the two countries. This partnership encompasses areas such as diplomacy, security, investment, energy, culture, and education. He clarified that the cooperation between Riyadh and Paris also addresses important regional issues, including supporting the two-state solution, stabilizing Yemen, ensuring maritime safety, ending the war in Sudan, supporting Syria’s unity, and strengthening Lebanese institutions. Furthermore, he emphasized that the establishment of the Strategic Partnership Council reflects the mutual desire of both nations to develop a comprehensive and enduring collaboration, capitalizing on the transformations happening in Saudi Arabia under Vision 2030, and benefiting from French expertise in energy, infrastructure, and artificial intelligence.
