Union confronts growth and renewal challenges
The article discusses the Saudi Football Federation's selection of Badr Rqizaa as the new president for a four-year term. His appointment was approved by acclamation, without the need for a vote, as his list was the only one that met all the necessary conditions. Rqizaa becomes the 12th president of the federation since its founding, succeeding Yasser Al-Misehal, who served for seven years. Among the challenges he faces are organizing and renewing committees, expediting the work of judicial panels, restoring the prestige of Saudi football, considering a reduction in the number of foreign players, and preparing for upcoming tournaments. Additionally, he will need to select a secretary-general capable of managing affairs in accordance with the regulations.
