Heavy rains and red alert in Jazan Mountains
Reports have been issued about heavy rainfall in the Jazan region, including both mountainous and coastal provinces, accompanied by strong winds, lightning storms, hail, and flooding. This has led to rising water levels in the streets and some road closures. The National Center of Meteorology has raised the alert level to red in the mountain areas, warning of continued rainfall and fierce winds. They advise residents to stay away from flood pathways, exercise caution, and stay updated on the latest weather developments.
