Delivering Death Certificates via Absher Without Civil Status Consultation
The "Absher" platform has launched an electronic service for delivering death certificates directly to the registered beneficiary's address, aiming to facilitate obtaining death certificates without the need to visit Civil Status offices. The service allows citizens to request the delivery of a death certificate for a first-degree relative, employee, or guardian electronically, as well as to modify the details related to the death certificate, such as the date and cause of death, after submitting supporting documents. The process involves simple steps: logging into the platform, selecting the service, filling in the required information, and optionally receiving a printed copy of the certificate through the delivery service. The Civil Status emphasizes the importance of attaching the necessary documents to verify the accuracy of the modifications, and the service provides an easy and transparent review process for beneficiaries.
