HR clarifies midday sun work issue
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has warned against deploying workers under direct sunlight or in adverse weather conditions without taking the necessary safety precautions, emphasizing that such actions are considered a violation of regulations. The ministry clarified that employers are obliged to follow safety procedures and protective measures when assigning workers to open sites, especially during midday hours when temperatures are high, in order to safeguard workers' safety. Reports of violations can be submitted electronically via the ministry's application, as the relevant authorities monitor these violations and take the appropriate legal action to ensure a safe working environment and protect workers from heat exhaustion risks.
