The Israeli occupying forces carried out widespread demolitions and desecrations in the cities of Ramallah and Nablus in the West Bank. They also detained at least eight Palestinians during raid and search operations, amid escalating assaults on Palestinian properties in Bethlehem. In contrast, the Secretary-General of the Arab League expressed concern over Israeli plans to expand Jewish settlements in the Negev and Galilee and to increase the Jewish population, viewing these policies as a reflection of rising racism and worsening discrimination against Arabs. He warned that such measures threaten the prospects of establishing an independent Palestinian state and undermine peace efforts. He called on the international community to take responsibility in confronting these policies and to focus on the two-state solution to ensure security and stability in the region.
