Citizen Account Details on Married Women Beneficiaries
The Citizen Account Program has clarified the circumstances under which a married woman can register as a main beneficiary. These include cases where she is married to a non-Saudi, has a family member who is imprisoned, is legally incapacitated, or is absent. Submission of supporting documents proving the situation is required to qualify for support, as marriage alone does not grant her the right to register independently unless in these specific cases. If none of these conditions apply to her, she is registered as a dependent under the head of the family. This clarification was issued in response to inquiries regarding the possibility for abandoned women or those involved in legal disputes to register independently.
