The General Directorate of Passports indicates that there is a fine of 500 Riyals for delaying the issuance of a Resident Identity Card for domestic workers after 90 days have passed since the worker's entry into the Kingdom. The employer can issue the ID electronically through the Absher or Qimam platforms after paying the necessary fees and fines. The process is completed once the medical examination and other requirements are met. If there is a delay in issuance, the employer should verify the fees and requirements through the electronic services. Please note that issuing the ID requires fulfilling all conditions and settling all dues to facilitate the process without the need to visit passport offices.
