Fingerprint and QR codes streamline school processes
The article focused on the transition of schools from manual attendance preparation to a smart electronic system based on fingerprint or QR code, aiming to improve discipline and reduce the time and effort involved in manually recording attendance and absences. It clarifies that modern systems operate independently of platforms such as "Noor" and "Madrasati," and are compliant with the Saudi Data Protection Law (PDPL) by encrypting fingerprints from the moment they are captured, with an additional two layers of encryption to preserve privacy. Relying on these systems helps reduce morning tardiness, monitor frequent absences, address dropout cases, and enhance communication with parents. The systems require fingerprint devices suitable for the student population, with backup provisions to ensure continuous operation in case of malfunctions. This step is essential for increasing the accuracy and speed of attendance management in schools, reducing administrative burdens, and fostering higher discipline.
