Al-Khawzaf Saudi Company announced the resumption of its affected production line by a fire at the power plant, using alternative energy sources. This was achieved through the temporary rental of electric generators until the damaged plant is reconstructed. The company clarified that the assets damaged, valued at 1.3 million riyals, will be recorded as a loss in the third quarter of 2026. Additionally, the estimated monthly costs for temporary alternative energy usage amount to 1.8 million riyals. The company is currently completing the insurance claim procedures, which cover lost business during the outage and additional expenses, with normal operations expected to resume once the power plant is fully rebuilt.
