The Film Authority participated in the 51st edition of the Toronto International Film Festival, held in Canada from September 10 to 20, 2026, with the goal of promoting the Saudi film industry’s presence on the international stage. The participation included a dedicated pavilion used to showcase the Kingdom’s diverse filming locations, attract international film producers and companies, and strengthen collaboration with global cinematic and media institutions. This step is part of the Authority’s efforts to support the growth of the Saudi film industry and establish its position as an attractive hub for film production, especially in light of the participation of hundreds of films from around the world amidst celebrations marking the festival's 50th anniversary.
