Yemen Post-Al-Mokha
According to the article, the Houthi militia's control over the Yemeni city of Mokha and its neighboring strategic sites represents a serious shift in the course of the Yemeni conflict, posing a threat to regional and international security. Reports indicate the arrival of Iranian military experts to support the Houthis' military operations, despite international blockade and surveillance, reflecting possible complicity by external powers. The danger lies in the fact that the Houthis now control vital waterways such as the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, which poses a significant risk to international shipping routes, especially since there is no direct confrontation with Iran in the region. The article calls on the international community and the Yemeni government to correct past mistakes and reorganize the situation, emphasizing the need to activate UN Security Council resolutions and take decisive measures to prevent this escalation from turning into a global security and economic crisis.
