90 days to Asian Indoor Games in Riyadh
The countdown to the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games "Riyadh 2026" is nearing as the event approaches in Riyadh, just 90 days away from its launch on December 11. Over 4,500 athletes from 45 Olympic Committees across Asia will compete in 18 sports. This coincides with preparations for the Nagoya 2026 Championship, which is a significant milestone on Riyadh’s journey, as many athletes are expected to participate in both events. This reflects the diversity of sports and the increasing level of Asian participation. The organizing committee is working to strengthen organizational readiness to ensure a high-quality experience for athletes and spectators, drawing on Nagoya’s expertise to enhance administrative performance. The kingdom is drawing attention for its rising stature in the global sports scene, as it is committed to implementing diverse plans to support the sports sector and realize Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
