The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority announced the issuance of the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) to the "Arabia Flights" consortium, making it a national and affordable airline capable of commencing operations from King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. The consortium has met all regulatory requirements, safety standards, security, and operational quality criteria, supported by the Kingdom’s strategy to transform into a global logistics hub and a major tourism and trade destination. This step is expected to enhance air connectivity, serve 24 domestic destinations and 57 international ones, stimulate the economy, and create over 2,400 direct jobs. Additionally, it aims to transport approximately 10 million passengers annually by 2030, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
