Multi-Story Parking Handles 400 Cars Hourly
The regulation concerns the Saudi Roads Authority's requirements for multi-story parking facilities, aimed at improving their efficiency, safety, and operational performance. The standards include a minimum entry capacity of 400 vehicles per hour, with at least one entrance for every 500 parking spaces, and an exit capacity of no less than 150 vehicles per hour, with at least one exit for every 250 parking spaces. It also emphasizes the need to evacuate vehicles within a maximum of one hour, or half an hour in emergency cases, to ensure parking readiness. The code's goal is to organize and enhance facilities, improve safety, and apply standardized criteria to elevate the quality of the road network across the Kingdom.
