Trump calls on Zelensky to halt attacks on Russian oil facilities
US President Donald Trump urged Ukraine to cease targeting Russian oil refineries, stressing that these attacks harm global fuel supplies and lead to a shortage of diesel, which has reached a record high in the United States exceeding $6 per gallon. He explained that ongoing attacks exacerbate the energy crisis, especially amid rising crude oil prices that have reached elevated levels due to increasing tensions between the US and Iran, impacting global oil markets and driving up local fuel prices. Moscow also welcomed Trump's call to halt attacks on Russian facilities, as the conflict in the region continues and influences the global oil market.
