The Saudi Football Federation announced that Kuwait will host the 2026-2027 Saudi Super Cup edition, which will take place from December 19 to 23, 2026, at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium. Four clubs will participate: Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli, Al-Qadsia, and Al-Khloud. This move aims to strengthen the tournament's presence within the Gulf region, enhance the sports and brotherly relations between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, and expand the tournament’s fan base and commercial reach. Kuwait is the eighth city to host the event in the tournament's history, which has moved between local and international cities. This is a valuable opportunity to boost Gulf cooperation and engage the large Gulf football fan community.
