Gulf-European Summit Rescheduled
The General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) announced the postponement of the Gulf-European Summit scheduled to be held in Riyadh on October 24, 2026, due to ongoing Houthi militia attacks on Saudi Arabia and the extension of the suspension of operations at King Khalid Airport, in order to protect the safety of the participating delegations. A new date for the summit will be determined later in agreement between the Gulf and European sides, amid their mutual desire to strengthen cooperation to achieve development and prosperity.
