Yemeni Army Engaged in Taiz Clashes
The battlefronts in the Taiz axis are witnessing ongoing military escalation between the Yemeni government forces and the Houthi militia, with intense fighting in the Shuqba front in Taiz province. Yemeni forces, supported by popular resistance, have managed to repel Houthi attack attempts and infiltration efforts, inflicting significant losses in lives and equipment on the group, including the destruction of military vehicles and the killing and wounding of Houthi militants. This escalation occurs amidst the group's ongoing siege of Taiz for years, which exacerbates the humanitarian suffering of the residents and continues to make the area a constant hotbed of tension, while government forces persist in targeting Houthi gatherings and securing the city's main lines of defense and passageways.
