Al-Ittihad Coach Confirms Bergwin's Involvement
The Saudi club Al-Ittihad continues to evaluate the participation of their Dutch winger, Steven Bergwijn, in today's match against Al-Droeya in the eleventh round of the Rashid League. The final decision hinges on the results of his medical evaluation after he missed team training and only underwent individual workouts. The coaching staff is cautioning against risking his involvement to prevent injuries, especially with an important Asian Champions League match against Neftchi Uzbekistan scheduled for next Monday, which requires careful management of the players' efforts. His participation decision is expected before the match, which is set to kick off at 6:30 PM Mecca time at the Al-Inma Stadium in Jeddah.
