Airstrikes Hit Houthi Units
Airstrikes on Friday evening and at dawn on Saturday targeted Houthi positions and reinforcements on the Al-Maqatirah front, northwest of Lahj. They coincided with ground clashes and counterattacks against government and local forces near Heijat al-Abd and along the Al-Duha–Karbah road, as forces sought to protect vital routes between Taiz and Lahj. In Taiz, the military command said 26 Houthis had been killed or wounded, three mortars and a jamming center destroyed, and a tank disabled during Friday’s clashes.
