Yasser Al-Misehal, chairman of the local organizing committee for the 2027 Asian Cup, confirmed that changing the tournament dates would not affect operational or organizational plans, and that preparations would continue at the same pace and to the same standard. The finals are scheduled to take place from December 23, 2027, to January 21, 2028, after being postponed because of developments in the region. Eight stadiums in Riyadh, Jeddah and Al Khobar will host the 51 matches.
