Barcelona has revealed that there is an obstacle preventing the transfer of their German goalkeeper, Marc-André ter Stegen, to Ajax Amsterdam. The dispute revolves around the division of salary responsibilities between the two clubs. Despite negotiations progressing and the player expressing preliminary agreement, the main disagreement concerns the proportion of the salary that the club would cover. This comes as part of Barcelona's efforts to reduce their wage burden and explore new options in goalkeeping following Ter Stegen's injury and his reduced role in the team.
