Yasser Al-Misehal, President of the Saudi Football Federation, has resigned, becoming the fourth president to step down in the federation's history since its establishment in 1955. His tenure lasted approximately seven years, following Saudi Arabia's exit from the 2026 World Cup. He was preceded by resignations from Nawaf Bin Faisal (2012), Adel Ezzat (2018), and Turki Al Faisal (2019). During his time in office, the federation faced numerous challenges, including disappointing results in tournaments and unstable performances by the national team.
