Germany coach calls disallowed goal a scandal
Julian Nagelsmann, the head coach of the German national team, emphasized that he is not committed to resigning after their early exit from the World Cup against Paraguay. He refused to step down despite the tense results. He confirmed that he is available to continue until the end of his contract in 2028, should the German Football Association decide so. He explained that his team has not performed at a high level since 2014 and that the loss was expected given the decline in performance. Nagelsmann also criticized the referee's decisions and the disallowed goal in extra time, considering it disgraceful and a scandal. He blamed his players for slow build-up of attacks.
