Koeman Attributes Loss to Morocco to Luck
Netherlands coach Ronald Koeman confirmed that he is prepared to make the same tactical decisions he made during the World Cup 2026 Round of 32 match against Morocco, despite their defeat on penalties. Koeman stated that the Moroccan opponent has evolved tactically and includes young players in European clubs. He expressed regret over the bad luck that accompanied his team. He pointed out that his team scored a goal in the second half, but Morocco equalized in injury time, then prevailed in the penalty shootout. Koeman also confirmed that he will discuss his future with the national team before making a decision on his continuation.
