FC Barcelona officially announced the renewal of their young player Oscar Gistau's contract for two additional seasons until 2028, with an option to extend for an extra season. Gistau, who is 18 years old, joined the club's youth sector from the Rios Foundation and has made significant progress within the youth ranks, contributing to their victory in the 2024-25 Youth League. He has also begun to feature with the first team in the 2024-2025 season, despite an injury that kept him out for several months. The renewal reaffirms the club's confidence in his potential as a promising talent from La Masia Academy.
