FC Barcelona has reached a preliminary agreement to loan German goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen to Ajax Amsterdam for one season, with financial arrangements that include covering most of his salary, which is approximately 20 million euros annually. Ajax will pay about 10% of the total amount. This move comes amid difficulties in regaining his primary position after the young goalkeeper Juan García's impressive performances and Ter Stegen's recent injuries that have sidelined him from his previous levels. Ter Stegen's transfer to Ajax will be finalized after completing the final procedures in Barcelona, and he will then prepare to travel and train with his new team.
