Faisal Al-Ghamdi, a midfielder for Neom FC, received an offer from Greek club Atromitos to join them on a loan basis for one season. However, complications arose that prevented the deal from being finalized. Despite his interest in experiencing playing in Greece, the circumstances surrounding the transfer have kept the possibility open for him to remain with Neom, as the player prefers to stay for now. Al-Ghamdi is hopeful that the opportunity to move will open the door for him to get regular playing time with Atromitos and improve his chances of returning to the Saudi national team, especially as the Gulf Cup and Asian Cup tournaments approach.
