Tottenham's team was saved from a third consecutive loss in the Premier League thanks to Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology, which disallowed a goal for their opponent Nottingham Forest in a match that ended in a goalless draw. This is the third consecutive time that Tottenham has failed to score a goal in their first three league matches, a record not seen since the 1974-1975 season. The team has scored only five goals so far this season, excluding their 5-1 victory in the Carabao Cup. Despite spending around 400 million pounds to strengthen the squad, Tottenham is experiencing a poor start, currently sitting in 17th place with just one point, while Forest is in 16th with two points. Egyptian player Omar Marmoush did not make a significant impact, and the team had a goal disallowed via VAR after it was confirmed to be a handball before the ball entered the net.
