Germany witnessed a horrific murder case, as a 35-year-old football player was arrested on suspicion of poisoning a teammate, which led to the teammate's death. The incident occurred during the TUS Röckenbrock team's trip to Dresden, when the player, Philip (30 years old), suddenly felt unwell and subsequently passed away after being transferred to the hospital with severe organ failure due to poisoning. Investigations indicated that a suspect, possibly motivated by revenge and potentially stemming from personal disputes, has been placed in pre-trial detention. Full details of the motive have not yet been disclosed. This incident has shocked both the club and the local community, as the accused player was preparing for his wedding, scheduled to take place in a few weeks.
