Brazilian coach Filipe Luís has had a successful start with French club Monaco, leading the team in five matches, winning all of them for a perfect record. He became the first coach in the club’s history to achieve this feat at the beginning of a Ligue 1 season. One of the most notable results was their away victory over reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain, with a 2-1 scoreline. This achievement highlights his tactical ability and his success in harnessing the team's potential, which currently holds the highest number of points among Ligue 1 teams. Despite this impressive beginning, Luís has emphasized cautious optimism regarding upcoming challenges, believing that consistent results depend on continuous effort. He clarified that a strong start does not guarantee trophies just yet. Luís employs a philosophy of high pressing and quick ball recovery, with a focus on collective play. Despite his relatively recent European experience, he has already delivered strong results with Monaco. Luís’s start at Monaco is considered one of the most successful in the club’s history, with expectations of further success if he maintains this approach. Most importantly, the team retains several key players who will aid in competing for titles throughout the season.
