Players of Al Nassr team, Frenchman Kingsley Coman and Spaniard Inigo Martinez, suffered muscle injuries during team training. Exams showed that both need rest for no less than seven days. Their injuries will prevent them from participating in the sixth and seventh rounds of the Arabian Gulf League against Abha and Al Khaleej, but they are expected to return to play against Al Ain in the AFC Champions League after the rehabilitation period. The examinations revealed a minor tear in Coman's muscle and a muscle strain in Martinez. Australian coach Ang Postecoglou will conduct the final training session before the match against Abha, which will take place at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh. Al Nassr is currently in second place in the league with 12 points, trailing the top-ranked Al Hilal by three points.
