Jorginho Vinardom, a player for Al-Ittihad, signed his professional contract with the club for one season. He began watching their matches from the stands of the Al-Inma Stadium at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah just hours after signing. The 35-year-old player will wear the Al-Ittihad kit and will undergo a special training program to prepare him for participating in matches, especially since he has been absent from games for a long period. He is expected to undergo medical examinations to assess his readiness. Vinardom had previously ended his association with Al Ettifaq Club and underwent training in Dubai before signing with Al-Ittihad, who officially announced his contract in the presence of the club's CEO. The club's management confirmed that this deal is the seventh in the summer transfer window, following the signing of other players from various clubs.
