Zlatko on UAE team's post-goal performance
The UAE national team has qualified for the Gulf Cup of Nations final ("Gulf 27") after defeating Oman 1-0 in the semi-final. Despite the victory, they were not fully satisfied with their performance following the goal scored by Oussama Kamara. Head coach Zlatko Dalić confirmed that the team played well in the beginning but expected a better performance in the second half, especially considering the upcoming challenges in the final against Saudi Arabia, where the team will play in front of a large crowd and under pressure from the opponents. On the other hand, Oman’s coach, Tarek Saktoui, expressed his disappointment after the loss, pointing out that small details decided the match, and that the team would build on the positives from their participation in the tournament despite their exit in the semi-finals.
