Abu Dhabi Winter Sports Announces Union Classic Ice Hockey
The second edition of the "Union Classic" ice hockey tournament will kick off in Al Ain on October 11 and will run until October 17. The competition will feature local and international teams across men's, women's, and juniors' categories, including for the first time teams from the Middle East and North Africa region, reflecting its expansion and growing significance. The tournament aims to support the development of the sport and elevate the skill levels of Emirati players by providing opportunities for exposure to teams from outside the country. It also demonstrates full organizational and technical readiness, with support from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, to strengthen the presence of such sporting events in the city.
