Green team undefeated and unbeaten
The Saudi Arabia national football team won the Gulf Cup 27, held in Jeddah, achieving a unique accomplishment by not losing a single match and conceding no goals. This feat has only been repeated twice since the tournament's inception. The "Green" team's performances during the tournament were distinguished by victories over Kuwait, Oman, Iraq, and Qatar in various stages, followed by a 2-0 win against the United Arab Emirates in the final. It is worth noting that Saudi Arabia repeated the accomplishments of Kuwait and Oman in previous editions of the tournament, where Kuwait secured the title in the third edition and Oman in the 19th. This achievement reflects the strength of the team's collective performance and its outstanding defensive strategy throughout the tournament.
