Al-Ahly Triumphs, Zamalek Loses Before Summit
Al-Ahly achieved a big victory over Botros Asyut with a 5-0 score, earning their first three points in the Cup Group ahead of the upcoming match between Zamalek and Al-Ahly. Meanwhile, Zamalek lost 3-0 to Zed, which caused them to be at the bottom of their group without any points. This win strengthens Al-Ahly's position at the top of the group, coming before the scheduled derby next week, and it is expected that the competition for the title will be fierce.
