Al-Fateh terminates Al-Attawi deal
The management of Al-Fateh Club officially announced the termination of coach Khaled Al-Attawi's contract by mutual consent following weak starts in this season's Roshn Saudi League. Al-Attawi, who took over the team last July, succeeding Portuguese Jozé Gomis, failed to secure any wins in seven official matches, resulting in three draws and four losses. The team was also eliminated from the King Abdulaziz Cup in the Round of 32. Currently, the team ranks fifteenth in the standings with three points after seven rounds. The decision to dismiss him was made in a friendly atmosphere, with the club emphasizing a good relationship and mutual respect, and indicating that the club has contracted with Moroccan Jamal Salami to assume the technical leadership in place of Al-Attawi.
