Werder Bremen affected by Fritz's transfers
The transfer policy at German club Werder Bremen is facing widespread criticism due to the team's declining results and the poor quality of recent signings. Many major deals have failed to deliver the expected on-field performance or have added financial burdens to the club. Notably, the French player Skili Alvero, who cost €4.75 million, did not perform at a level justifying his price, while Portuguese forward André Silva failed to prove his worth. The injury of defender Wober has also affected the team's defensive stability. The €12 million signing of Victor Boniface is considered among the worst due to injuries and lack of cohesion. These transfers have contributed to a decline in team performance, which saw Bremen finish fifteenth last season. There are warnings that mismanagement of transfers could threaten the club's survival in the top division, along with calls to reevaluate policies and strengthen future planning.
