Atlético mocks Madrid star's fast recovery
Atlético Madrid's club mocked Real Madrid after the surprising return of their star, Federico Valverde, to the field following 18 days of recovery from a severe injury in the Madrid derby. The injury was a third-degree ankle sprain, and it was expected that he would be out for 6 to 12 weeks according to medical diagnosis. However, Valverde returned to training and was included in the squad for the match against Villarreal, raising questions about his recovery speed. Atlético took the opportunity to mock the medical predictions, while Real Madrid's coach, José Mourinho, expressed his displeasure with the refereeing decisions in the derby, which heightened tensions between the two clubs.
